The Telangana Government has granted administrative approval for the Alvin Colony Miyapur flyover project in Hyderabad. The proposed elevated corridor will connect Alvin Colony in CMC to Miyapur and aims to reduce congestion across the city’s northwestern corridor. Authorities have sanctioned the project with an estimated budget of 530 INR-Crore.
The flyover will pass through Anjaiah Nagar and will have a length of 1.8 Km. The structure will be 24 M wide and will feature 6 lanes to accommodate high traffic volumes. Out of the total sanctioned amount, 330 INR-Crore has been allocated for construction and initial land acquisition. Meanwhile, authorities have earmarked another 200 INR-Crore specifically for land acquisition activities. Officials are expected to begin the acquisition process shortly.

The project will provide signal-free connectivity for commuters travelling towards Miyapur, Lingampally and Patancheru. Additionally, the corridor will reduce traffic congestion in Balanagar, Kukatpally, JNTU and Nizampet areas. Once operational, the Alvin Colony Miyapur flyover will strengthen urban mobility infrastructure in Hyderabad’s rapidly developing western corridor.
