PNC Infratech Limited, in a joint venture with SPS Constructions India Pvt Ltd, has secured an estimated 559.53 INR-Crore EPC contract from UP State Bridge Corporation Ltd (UPSBC). The project involves the construction of a four-lane bridge over the Ganga River in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. The contract was awarded on Thursday, May 14.
The project includes the construction of a four-lane bridge with footpaths, approach roads, and protection works. The bridge will connect Trans Ganga City with Kanpur city at Bhairoghat Dhobighat Jalkal Campus. The joint venture between PNC Infratech and SPS Constructions India Pvt Ltd has an equal participation ratio of 50:50. Additionally, the project will be executed within an anticipated period of 36 months.

Once completed, the Kanpur bridge EPC contract project will strengthen regional road connectivity across the Ganga corridor in Kanpur. It will also improve transportation access between Trans Ganga City and key urban areas in the city.
