Adani Group has proposed an estimated 1 INR-Trillion investment to establish an artificial intelligence Data Center in Odisha. The company is seeking an anticipated 250 Acres of land from the State Government. If approved, the project would place Odisha at the forefront of India’s AI and digital infrastructure ecosystem, ranking among the largest such initiatives in the country after Google’s planned 1 GW project in Andhra Pradesh.

The proposal for the Adani Data Center in Odisha is under detailed evaluation by the state government. Officials are examining land availability, power supply, water resources, and connectivity. A tentative location under consideration is Cuttack (now Kataka), though final approval is pending. Additionally, the company has requested incentives from the state, which will be reviewed before the proposal is presented to the high-level clearance authority headed by the chief minister.

The Adani Data Center, Odisha is expected to generate significant employment opportunities and attract global technology investments. Moreover, it will strengthen India’s position in AI infrastructure while supporting Odisha’s economic growth.
