Karnataka approves 83 industrial projects worth 6,252 INR-Crore

The State Level Single Window Clearance Committee (SLSWCC) has approved 83 industrial projects in Karnataka. The projects involve an estimated total investment of 6,252.86 INR-Crore. The committee approved the projects during a meeting chaired by Large and Medium Industries Minister MB Patil. Additionally, 69 projects will come up outside Bengaluru.

The approved projects are expected to create employment opportunities for more than 30,054 people across Karnataka. Of the total projects, 24 involve investments exceeding 50 INR-Crore each. These projects account for 4,702.99 INR-Crore and are expected to generate 25,170 jobs. Meanwhile, 57 projects involve investments between 15 INR-Crore and 50 INR-Crore. These projects account for 1,291.87 INR-Crore and will create 4,884 jobs. The approved sectors include integrated industrial parks, aerospace and defence manufacturing, food processing, IT services, and renewable energy. Notably, Jaswin Ventures will develop an Integrated Industrial Park and Mixed-Use Township in Doddaballapura taluk. The project involves 475 INR-Crore and is expected to create 12,000 jobs. Jampana Construction will develop another Integrated Industrial Park in the same taluk. The project includes warehousing, logistics, residential, and commercial spaces. It involves 465 INR-Crore and will create 2,500 jobs.

The Karnataka industrial projects will expand industrial activity across multiple sectors and locations. Further, the approval of 69 projects outside Bengaluru will support wider industrial development across the state. The projects will also add capacity across manufacturing, logistics, services, and renewable energy sectors.
