Uttar Pradesh has floated tenders for the first two phases of a 74 Km link expressway. The corridor will connect the Yamuna Expressway with the Ganga Expressway. The Uttar Pradesh Expressway Industrial Development Authority has invited bids to appoint developers. The project carries an estimated investment of 8,586 INR-Crore.
The six-lane access-controlled highway will support design, engineering, procurement, construction, and maintenance works. The selected developer will maintain the corridor through a five-year defect liability period. The project has a three-year completion schedule. The design will also allow future widening to eight lanes. The first phase will cover around 24 Km between Bhaipur Brahmanan in Greater Noida and Bichaul village in Bulandshahr. The second phase will extend nearly 50 Km from Bichaul to Bahanpur near Syana. The corridor will begin at the 24.8 Km mark of the Yamuna Expressway. It will terminate at the 44.3 Km point of the Ganga Expressway near Syana. The alignment will pass through 56 villages. These include further eight villages in Gautam Buddha Nagar and 48 in Bulandshahr. The project will also include seven underpasses, 11 minor bridges, three major bridges, a flyover, and four railway overbridges. Furthermore, land acquisition is progressing across both districts. Nearly 90% of the requirement within the Yamuna Authority area has been secured.

The Uttar Pradesh Link Expressway will provide a direct road connection between the Yamuna and Ganga expressways. The corridor will improve access to the Noida International Airport for western Uttar Pradesh. It will also connect industrial parks and logistics clusters along both expressways. Additionally, the project is expected to support commercial activity across the region.
