Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has secured a mega order to build an artificial intelligence (AI) infrastructure facility in Chennai. The order falls in an estimated 10,000–15,000 INR-Crore range under L&T’s order classification. L&T will develop the facility through LTN Compute and Vyoma.AI. The company will set up the AI Factory at its Chennai data center campus for US-based Together AI.
The AI Factory Chennai project will feature 10,000 NVIDIA B300 GPUs. It will support large-scale inference, fine-tuning and training workloads. The facility will combine hyperscale data center infrastructure with accelerated computing and high-performance networking. It will also include ultra-low-latency interconnects, high-throughput parallel storage and AI infrastructure operations. Meanwhile, the Chennai campus has a Phase 1 capacity of 250 MW and power infrastructure readiness of 150 MVA.
