Agastya Green Energy Limited has announced a 7,800 INR-Crore investment in Andhra Pradesh. The company is part of the Anubhav Agarwal Group (AAG). It will establish an integrated solar manufacturing plant at Orvakal Industrial Area in Kurnool district. The project will support the company’s expansion across the solar photovoltaic value chain.
The facility will have a 12 GW capacity for integrated solar ingot manufacturing. It will also have a 12 GW capacity for integrated solar wafer manufacturing. The development will complement Agastya’s existing solar cell and module production capabilities. Further, the project will create more than 3,500 direct and indirect employment opportunities.

The Andhra Pradesh solar manufacturing project will expand the state’s solar manufacturing infrastructure. Additionally, the integrated facility will connect multiple stages of solar PV manufacturing under the company’s production network. The development will strengthen domestic solar manufacturing capacity in the state.
