The Bihar Government, on Thursday, August 6, signed MoUs worth an estimated 51,600 INR-Crore with 10 firms. These MoUs attracted investments in steel, nuclear energy, textiles, and other sectors. The agreements were finalized in Patna between the Industries Department and participating companies.
These MoUs in Bihar include major steel commitments totaling nearly 28,626 INR-Crore. Under these agreements, Shyam Steel Manufacturing Ltd and Shakambhari Ispat and Power Ltd pledged 5,000 INR-Crore each. Nakshit Iron and Steel Pvt Ltd will invest 6,836 INR-Crore, while Shri Langta Baba Metals and Power Ltd committed 5,500 INR-Crore. Moreover, Ankur Steel Pvt Ltd announced 6,000 INR-Crore, and Shri Samriddhi Steel Pvt Ltd 290 INR-Crore.

In clean energy, GRACE signed an MoU to invest 22,500 INR-Crore in nuclear energy. In textiles, Creative Group proposed 250 INR-Crore, while Bharat Science and Innovation Pvt Ltd will invest 200 INR-Crore. Anubhav Apparels Pvt Ltd committed 50 INR-Crore.
The Bihar MoUs aim to generate employment and accelerate industrial growth. The Chief Minister stated that investments in textiles, food processing, and pharmaceuticals will further strengthen the state’s industrial ecosystem. With these MoUs in Bihar, the government promises swift project execution to maximize economic and employment benefits.
