The Maharashtra Cabinet has approved the construction of a four-lane elevated road between Old Pune Naka and Boramani Naka in Solapur. The project is estimated at 1,020.50 INR-Crore, while the cabinet classified this project as an urgent public infrastructure work.
The elevated corridor will cover approximately 9.660 Km, which will be built along National Highway 65 through Solapur city. The project involves six ramps and three small bridges, along with service and access roads at required locations.

The Old Pune elevated road will improve movement towards major destinations in the region, including Tuljapur, Pandharpur, Akkalkot and Gangapur. Moreover, enhanced road connectivity will benefit Solapur’s industrial, commercial, and agricultural activities, including the city’s textile sector.
