In July 2026, Biltrax Construction Data documented over 1,816 new construction projects. These include 1,057 building projects and 759 industrial & infrastructure projects.

Building Construction Projects Insights – July 2026

The 1,057 new building projects incorporated in July 2026 cover a combined 345.93  Million-SqFt, with a total construction cost of 143,714 INR-Crore. Of these, 433 projects are under construction, while 624 are in the early stages. The breakdown further includes 672  private projects and 385 public projects.

Among the significant construction projects is the Aparna Garnet residential project in Sankepalle, Telangana. The project involves the development of a residential project on a 22.54 Acres land parcel with a construction area of over 2 Million-SqFt. The estimated construction cost of the project is 3,315 INR-Crore. As of July 2026, the project is under environmental clearance approval. 

Another notable construction project is the SGVU Medical College & Hospital in Rajawas, Jaipur, Rajasthan. Suresh Gyan Vihar University is developing the project with a construction area of 1.8 Million-SqFt. The estimated construction cost stands at 720 INR-Crore. As of July 2026, structural work for the project has been initiated. 

In July 2026, Biltrax also recorded 467 new tenders with a total tender value of over 26,232.41  INR-Crore. Notable tender issuers include the Central Public Works Department (CPWD), Military Engineer Services (MES), Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC), NBCC (India) Limited and Public Works Department, Maharashtra (PWD).

Industrial and Infrastructure Projects Insights

In July 2026, Biltrax’s BX-2 platform also documented 427 industrial projects worth 132,915 INR-Crore & 332 infrastructure projects worth 107,637 INR-Crore.

The 427 industrial projects span a total area of 63.53 Million-SqFt. Maharashtra led with 106 projects. Meanwhile, Tamil Nadu, Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh, and Uttar Pradesh followed closely.

BX-2 also tracked 207 water infrastructure projects worth 34,357 INR-Crore in July. Uttar Pradesh attracted the highest number of water projects. BX-2 documented 23 water infrastructure projects in Uttar Pradesh. Maharashtra, Karnataka, Rajasthan, and Haryana followed closely.

July 2026 also saw major industrial projects. A notable industrial project is the Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) Integrated Steel Plant Expansion in Bhilai, Chhattisgarh. SAIL is developing the project on a 226 Acres land parcel with a construction area of approximately 2.5 Million-SqFt. The estimated construction cost of the project stands at 30,887 INR-Crore. Moreover, it has a proposed investment of 64,767 INR-Crore. 

Lastly, a major transport infrastructure project includes the MPRDC Four Laning of Badwah to Dhamnod Section of SH 36 in Madhya Pradesh. The project involves the rehabilitation and upgradation of the Badwah-Dhamnod road (SH 36) from Km 0.000 to Km 62.555. It further upgrades from two-lane to four-lane with paved shoulder under the Hybrid Annuity Mode. The estimated construction cost of the project is 919 INR-Crore. The project has a total road length of 62.55 Km.
