Sustainability plays a key role, with a strong emphasis on material reuse throughout the interiors.
A Spatial Language Shaped by Work and Exchange
Located on the ground floor of the student accommodation block, the Placement Cell at Jaipuria Institute of Management acts as a bridge between education and industry. The layout allows a smooth transition between focused individual work and collaborative discussions.
Linear planning ensures clear movement across the workspace. Meanwhile, designated meeting and discussion zones create a structured and professional environment. As a result, the spatial organisation encourages interaction, visibility, and ease of access. It supports an atmosphere where ideas emerge through everyday engagement.

Material Strategy as Spatial Identity

Brick becomes the primary interior language. However, the design reinterprets it beyond its traditional structural role. Instead, it shapes surfaces and spatial character. Fly ash bricks introduce warmth and continuity across the interiors. In addition, salvaged bricks from the student accommodation construction are reused as feature elements. This approach embeds memory and material authenticity into the workspace.

Resource-Conscious Material Application
The material strategy extends into a broader resource-conscious approach. Surplus steel from the site is repurposed into partitions and furniture. Similarly, corrugated cement sheets introduce texture and visual rhythm.
Smaller leftover elements, including wooden planks and metal fittings, are also integrated into built components and detailing. As a result, the interiors remain grounded in reuse while expressing a strong material identity. At the same time, the design aligns with efficiency and environmental responsibility.
