Godavari Pushkaralu is an upcoming project worth 2,000 INR-Crore for developing riverfront areas and temples along the Godavari River. Additionally, the foundation stone has been laid for the road leading to the temple. The road project is worth an estimated 44 INR-Crore and forms part of the Telangana temple development works.

Moreover, the Telangana Temple Development works include the development of Bhadrachalam temple worth an estimated 276 INR-Crore. It will also further involve the construction of Sri Gnana Saraswati Temple at Basara.
