Project Overview:
Delhi Transport Corporation is undertaking the bus depot redevelopment project at Banda Bahadur Marg Complex in Mukherjee Nagar, Delhi. The development spans an anticipated 15.24 Acres and has a proposed construction area of 523,072 SqFt. Furthermore, estimated construction cost stands at 893 INR-Crore. Meanwhile, construction will commence in 2026 and is scheduled for completion in 2028.
The project involves the redevelopment of the existing land parcel into a multi-component development. Firstly, Component 01 will comprise two combined basements, a ground floor, three upper floors, and a terrace-level bus parking facility. Meanwhile, Component 02 will include two combined basements, a ground floor, and 15 upper floors. Additionally, the first three floors will house retail shops, while the fourth to the fifteenth floors will accommodate office or showroom spaces. Overall, the DTC bus depot redevelopment will provide 1,678 car parking spaces and parking for 1,360 buses, thereby integrating transport and commercial functions within the site.
Design architect Design Associates Inc is responsible for architectural planning and master planning of the project. Meanwhile, Engineering Projects (India) Limited (EPIL) is acting as the program and project management consultant. The EPC contractor, Vishwa Samudra Engineering, will execute the construction works for the redevelopment.

As of March 2026, the authority has awarded the EPC contract to The Vishwa Samudra Group (Vishwa Samudra Engineering). Meanwhile, the team is progressing with the design work, and they plan to begin construction in mid-2026.
