C-Camp plans Innovation Park worth 400 INR-Crore in Bengaluru

The Center for Cellular and Molecular Platforms (C-CAMP) is planning to develop an Innovation Park over an anticipated 5 Acres in Bengaluru. The project will be built within the Bengaluru Life Sciences Cluster (BliSC) on the GKVK (Gandhi Krishi Vigyana Kendra) campus. The facility is expected to be operational in 2028.

The project will be constructed as a 5 Lakh-SqFt campus, accommodating 100 laboratories. The C-CAMP Innovation Park will focus on healthcare, agriculture and environmental applications. Furthermore, it will include biopharma, medical devices, diagnostics, digital health and artificial intelligence. Meanwhile, synthetic and industrial biotechnology, agri-biotech, fast-moving consumer goods and environmental biotechnology are part of this project.

Through this project, C-CAMP is adding a large-scale institutional development to the life sciences infrastructure pipeline in Bengaluru. The Innovation Park will introduce substantial built-up space for laboratories and specialized research facilities within the Bengaluru Life Sciences Cluster.
