The Uttar Pradesh Government has approved 23 important proposals related to development and welfare. One of the major projects includes the revised project proposal of Chitrakoot Link Expressway. The six-lane greenfield expressway will span nearly 15.172 Km.
The Chitrakoot Link Expressway will be constructed in Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) mode. The state government will bear the estimated cost of 1,008.67 INR-Crore for this project. It will also invite a global bid to select the construction agency.

The government also gave a nod to developing council schools as smart schools to provide students with modern facilities. Additionally, the government has approved establishing 120 KLPD ethanol production plant. It has also signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Department of Fisheries (Uttar Pradesh) and WorldFish for setting up the WorldFish project in Purvanchal, Uttar Pradesh.
