Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) announced that it has signed a Taj Hotel in Tamil Nadu. The greenfield project is located in Rameswaram. The company mentioned its partnership with Setupuram Hotels & Resorts Private Limited for this project.
Taj-Rameswaram is a 300-key hotel and is anticipated to span over 70 Acres. It will be developed in a phased manner and will include a wellness center. The hotel will feature two specialty restaurants, a bar lounge, and a pool bar. Additionally, the project will offer a spacious banquet venue, convention spaces, and meeting rooms for social gatherings. Taj Hotel will also include recreational facilities comprising a swimming pool, fitness center, and a spa.

Taj Hotel is located near the Pamban Bridge and has direct access to NH87 in Tamil Nadu. The project will add new hospitality infrastructure to the development pipeline in Rameswaram. It will also expand the region’s hotel and tourism infrastructure along an important transport corridor.
