The State Cabinet Infrastructure Committee approved the Mumbai Metro Line 12A project in Maharashtra. The metro line will connect Manpada-Katai Naka to Taloja via Kalyan Phata. The project is estimated to be 13,856 INR-Crore, with a completion deadline of three and a half years.
Mumbai Metro Line 12A will be an elevated corridor covering 18.4 Km and will have 12 stations. Additionally, the project will include an integrated road spanning 15.62 Km. The metro line will also comprise 6.93 Km of 4-lane flyovers and 8.69 Km of 6-lane flyovers. Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) will implement the project.

Furthermore, the Mumbai Metro Line 12A project will include 3 notable planned interchanges. According to the plan, it will connect to Metro Line 12 and the Bullet Train link at Katai Naka. Meanwhile, Metro Line 14 at Kalyan Phata will be accessible, along with the Navi Mumbai Metro Line 1 at Amandoot.
