The Bihar State Investment Promotion Board (SIPB) has approved 16 industrial projects with a combined proposed investment of 2,484 INR-Crore. Additionally, the board cleared financial assistance worth 46.86 INR-Crore for four industrial proposals.
Among the major approvals, Ambuja Concrete North Private Limited will set up a cement manufacturing unit with a capacity of 8,219 Metric Tonnes per day at the Mahwal Industrial Area in Muzaffarpur. The project involves an estimated investment of 1,114.94 INR-Crore. Dalmia Cement (North East) Limited has received approval for a 2.5 Million Tonnes Per Annum (MTPA) cement plant in Kishanganj, with an investment of 573.76 INR-Crore.

Additionally, Dalmia Bharat Green Vision Limited will establish another 2.5 Million Tonnes Per Annum (MTPA) cement unit in Mahwal, Muzaffarpur. This project involves an estimated investment of 573.15 INR-Crore. Other approved proposals include projects by KNSG Aluminium Pvt Ltd, A2R Mehta Star Hotels LLP, S Rajdev Buildz LLP, IconSpiral Electronics Pvt Ltd, SITA Agro Food Products, and SAPL Industries Private Limited.
Once operational, these Bihar SIPB projects are expected to strengthen industrial activity across key districts in the state. They are also likely to generate employment opportunities and support long-term manufacturing growth in Bihar.
