Ceigall India Limited has executed a concession agreement with the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) for a highway infrastructure project in Punjab. The agreement was signed on June 9 through the company’s special purpose vehicle, Ceigall Ambala Chandigarh Zirakpur Limited. The move marks the start of project implementation activities for the proposed corridor.
The Ceigall India Punjab highway project carries an estimated cost of 603 INR-Crore, excluding GST. The project involves the construction of a six-lane access-controlled spur road. It will connect the Ambala-Chandigarh section of NH-205A with the Zirakpur Bypass. The proposed corridor will have a total length of 10.3 Km. Additionally, the project will be developed under the Hybrid Annuity Model (HAM), under which the government and developer share funding responsibilities.
