Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has laid the foundation stone for civic infrastructure projects worth an estimated 1,600 INR-Crore in the Malkajgiri Municipal Corporation (MMC) area of Telangana. The Malkajgiri civic projects include road infrastructure, a flyover, a municipal office complex, and a healthcare facility. The projects aim to improve urban mobility and public infrastructure across the municipality.
The largest component involves the construction of alternative roads around the Army Ordnance Corps (AOC) Centre. The project carries an investment of 960 INR-Crore. Additionally, authorities will develop a six-lane bi-directional flyover connecting TKR College Junction, Gayatri Nagar Junction, and Manda Mallamma Junction. The flyover has an estimated cost of 416 INR-Crore. The government will also construct a new Malkajgiri Municipal Corporation office building at Uppal Bhagayath Layout Phase-III. The project involves an investment of 98 INR-Crore. Further, authorities will build a 100-bed Area Hospital in Uppal. The hospital will come up on an anticipated 0.97 Acres and carry an investment of 27.17 INR-Crore.

Once completed, the Malkajgiri civic projects will improve urban connectivity and strengthen public infrastructure in the region. The developments will also enhance access to healthcare services and support future urban growth in the Hyderabad metropolitan area.
