Cosmic PV Power Limited has performed the Bhumi Poojan for the solar cell manufacturing unit in Narmadapuram, Madhya Pradesh. The ceremony marks the commencement of development for the project. The facility will have a planned manufacturing capacity of 1.1 GW.
The unit will focus on manufacturing solar photovoltaic (PV) cells. It will include production lines, processing units, and supporting industrial infrastructure required for solar cell manufacturing. The project will be developed as part of efforts to expand domestic renewable energy manufacturing capacity. The state-of-the-art facility will be developed on an anticipated 60 Acres of land leased for a period of 99 years.

The Cosmic PV solar manufacturing unit will support growth in India’s solar manufacturing ecosystem. It will also contribute to strengthening domestic supply chains for renewable energy infrastructure. The project aligns with increasing demand for locally manufactured solar components.
