The foundation stone has been laid for the BISER medical college and corporate hospital project in Amaravati, Andhra Pradesh. Backed by Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS), the project involves an estimated investment of 700 INR-Crore and will include a 500-bed multi-speciality hospital facility.
The Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority (APCRDA) has allotted about 23 Acres of land on lease at Nidamarru for the project. KIMS will develop the BISER campus as part of a larger healthcare and education initiative. The development will include a medical college and supporting academic infrastructure. It will also feature a 500-bed corporate hospital to improve healthcare access in and around Amaravati. Additionally, the hospital component will be developed on an anticipated 2 Acres within the larger site.

Once completed, the BISER medical college Amaravati project will strengthen healthcare and medical education infrastructure in Andhra Pradesh. It will also improve healthcare accessibility and support institutional development in the Amaravati region.
