HG Infra Engineering Ltd has received a Letter of Award from Welspun Enterprises Limited for the Maharashtra highway project on Monday, May 11. The contract is valued at an estimated 3,931.11 INR-Crore, excluding taxes. The project involves construction of a highway corridor in Maharashtra along the Pune–Shirur section of NH-753F.
The scope includes construction of a 6-lane highway corridor with partially elevated stretches. Additionally, the contractor will improve the existing road infrastructure along the alignment. The project will cover a minimum design length of 53.40 Km. HG Infra Engineering will execute the contract on an item-rate basis under the domestic project category. The company will complete the project within 36 months.

Once operational, the HG Infra Maharashtra highway project will strengthen regional road connectivity and support transportation infrastructure development in Maharashtra. The project is also expected to improve corridor mobility along the Pune–Shirur section.
