The Indore Municipal Corporation (IMC) plans to invite tenders for the construction of residential units under the PMAY 2.0 scheme. The Mayor-in-Council has approved the proposal. The PMAY 2.0 flats Indore project carries an estimated investment of approximately 1,200 INR-Crore. The housing development aims to support families affected by road widening and infrastructure projects while expanding the city’s affordable housing stock.
The project involves the construction of 8,100 high-rise residential flats across multiple locations in Indore. Under the plan, IMC will reserve baseline 1-BHK units for eligible persons displaced by road widening and civic infrastructure works. Additionally, the corporation will develop premium 2-BHK, 3-BHK, and 4-BHK units within the same complexes. The project cost includes the central and state government subsidy of 2.5 lakh per eligible unit under PMAY guidelines.

The PMAY 2.0 flats Indore project will add significant affordable housing infrastructure to the city. Furthermore, IMC plans to adopt a mixed-allocation model to support the financial viability of the development.
