KPI Green Energy has received an order from the National Federation of Farmer’s Procurement Processing & Retailing Cooperatives of India Ltd (NACOF Oorja) worth an estimated 2,025 INR-Crore for a turnkey 500 MW/550 MWp solar photovoltaic power project in Rajasthan.
The 500 MW project forms part of the larger 5,000 MW Solar Photovoltaic Power Park. NOPL is developing the solar power park at Dantoor village in Bikaner. KPI Green Energy will be responsible for the design, engineering, procurement, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning for the Rajasthan solar power plant. Additionally, the company will develop the 33KV transmission line and evacuation bay, SCADA and Monitoring system.

Meanwhile, KPI Green Energy has to build the civic works, PV modules, module mounting structures, inverters, and inverter transformers for the solar power project. The project also includes developing HT switchgear and associated electrical systems. The facility is scheduled to be completed within 12 months from handing over the project site. Furthermore, the order follows a previous 500 MW/500 MWp solar BOS package. This project was secured from NTPC Renewable Energy Limited in Bikaner earlier this year.
