Noida Metro Rail Corporation (NMRC) has selected Larsen & Toubro (L&T) to construct two upcoming metro corridors in Noida. The projects comprise an 11.56 Km Botanical Garden–Sector 142 corridor and a 2.6 Km Depot–Boraki extension. Together, the corridors carry an estimated investment of 2,670.35 INR-Crore. NMRC expects to develop both projects within 3 years.
The Botanical Garden–Sector 142 corridor will cost around 2,254.35 INR-Crore. It will further feature 8 elevated stations along the route. These include Botanical Garden, Sector 44, Sector 96, Sector 97, Sector 105, Sector 108, Sector 93 and Panchsheel Balak Inter College in Sector 91. Meanwhile, the Depot–Boraki extension will cost around 416 INR-Crore. It will feature 2 stations at Jumpat and Boraki. The extension will connect the proposed Multimodal Transport Hub at Boraki village.

The Noida Metro expansion will strengthen connectivity between Noida and Greater Noida. The Botanical Garden–Sector 142 corridor will also improve access towards Greater Noida and Jewar. Further, the Depot–Boraki extension will support multimodal connectivity through the proposed transport hub. L&T emerged as the lowest bidder after NMRC floated tenders for both corridors in April.
