Welspun Enterprises secures 7,300 INR-Crore Pune–Shirur highway project

Welspun Enterprises Limited has secured the Pune Shirur highway project with an estimated investment of 7,300 INR-Crore in Maharashtra. The company received the Letter of Award (LoA) on Wednesday, April 29, from Maharashtra State Infrastructure Development Corporation (MSIDC).

The project involves the development of a six-lane, partially elevated highway corridor on NH-753F between Pune and Shirur. It will span an approximate length of 53.4 Km. The project will be executed under the Design, Build, Finance, Operate and Transfer (DBFOT) model with a 29-year concession period, including a 4-year construction phase. The scope includes road construction, elevation structures, and associated highway infrastructure.

Once completed, the Welspun Pune highway project will improve regional connectivity and logistics efficiency. It is also expected to support industrial growth and corridor-based development in Maharashtra.
