Shivtek Spechemi to invest 150 INR-Crore in Gujarat specialty chemicals facility

Shivtek Spechemi Industries Limited has announced an estimated investment of 150 INR-Crore to establish a greenfield specialty chemicals manufacturing facility in Gujarat. The project will come up on 21 Acres of industrial land in Panoli, Ankleshwar. The company expects to commission the facility by March 2027. The investment will support the expansion of its specialty chemicals manufacturing capacity.

The facility will have a total production capacity of 144,000 Metric Tonnes per annum (MTPA). The first phase will add 84,000 MTPA, while the second phase will contribute another 60,000 MTPA. The company plans to begin commercial operations shortly after commissioning. The project will manufacture pharmaceutical-grade hydrochloric acid (HCl) and specialty feedstock chemicals. It will also produce methanol-to-benz and hydrogen fuel technologies. Additionally, the integrated complex will include manufacturing units, utilities, quality control laboratories, warehousing and storage infrastructure. The facility will also feature dedicated infrastructure for pharmaceutical, agrochemical, personal care, industrial coatings, water treatment and textiles.

The Shivtek Spechemi Gujarat project will strengthen the company’s manufacturing footprint and expand its presence in western India. Furthermore, the location near Hazira Port and the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway will improve logistics connectivity. The project is also expected to generate direct and indirect employment while supporting capacity expansion in the specialty chemicals sector.
