The Uttar Pradesh Cabinet has approved four link expressway projects covering 322 Km. The total estimated worth of the projects is 17,542.06 INR-Crore. The State Government will bear the expenditure, and the projects are expected to be completed in 3 years.
Uttar Pradesh Expressways Industrial Development Authority (UPEIDA) will develop these projects in the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) mode. According to the plan, Farrukhabad Link Expressway will be constructed in two packages covering 90.90 Km. Meanwhile, a 50.94 Km link expressway will connect the Agra-Lucknow Expressway with the Purvanchal Expressway. The Jhansi Link Expressway will also be built in two packages covering nearly 106 Km. Additionally, the Jewar Link Expressway will be developed in two packages spanning around 74 Km.

Furthermore, the contractors will be responsible for maintaining the Uttar Pradesh four link expressways for five years after their completion. The proposed links are expected to improve connectivity between existing expressways and important destinations across Uttar Pradesh.
