Project Overview:
Maharashtra State Infrastructure Development Corporation (MSIDC), along with Hindustan Aeronautics Limited, is developing the airport terminal expansion project at Ozar, Nashik. The project will span an anticipated 110 Acres and will have a total construction area of 460,200 SqFt, excluding apron and taxiway areas. The estimated construction cost stands at 458 INR-Crore. Consequently, Bhoomipujan has already been conducted and construction is expected to be completed by 2028.
The development includes a new integrated terminal building, along with a utility building and associated airside infrastructure. The scope of work further includes development of the apron, taxiway, city-side infrastructure, airport systems, IT systems, airport security systems, electro-mechanical works, and passenger boarding bridge infrastructure. Furthermore, the project will strengthen regional aviation connectivity and passenger handling operations at Nashik Airport. Additionally, Harsh Constructions Private Limited has been appointed as the EPC contractor for the project.
Recent Updates:
As of March 2026, initial site setup activities are in progress at the project location. Recently, the Bhoomipujan ceremony was conducted by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. The project has now entered the preliminary execution phase with site mobilization activities underway.
