Blackrock Hotels and Resorts has marked its entry into hotel ownership through the ‘Kingsbury’ project in Udaipur. The company has also announced an expansion pipeline of nearly 900 rooms, extending its presence beyond Rajasthan.
The planned expansion includes its first owned hotel in Udaipur, and two signed properties in Jim Corbett in Uttarakhand. It will also have a project in Vrindavan, Uttar Pradesh. Kingsbury is a 241 room hotel under development in Udaipur. The operations are scheduled to begin in March 2027. The hotel is designed to cater to destination weddings, conferences and large social gatherings. Additionally, the hotel will feature two ballrooms spread over an anticipated 4,000 SqFt and 14,000 SqFt, respectively.

Moreover, Kingsbury in Udaipur will offer planned facilities, including a courtyard spanning over 11,000 SqFt and a pool deck sprawling over 6,000 SqFt. It will also have a rooftop event space of approximately 10,000 SqFt. Furthermore, the hotel will provide three lakeside venues and five garden spaces ranging from an anticipated 10,000 SqFt to 50,000 SqFt.
