Karnataka Government, during the Mangaluru cabinet meeting, announced the proposal for a 42-storey tower in the state. The project, named ‘Mangalore Eye’, will be developed over an anticipated 5 Acres of land owned by the Horticulture Department.
As per the blueprint submitted to the Karnataka Tourism Department, this landmark project will be nearly a 200 Meter tower and will be developed under a Public-Private Partnership (PPP). The project cost is estimated to be 350 INR-Crore. Moreover, the Mangaluru tower will feature a lighthouse on the 42nd floor, an open terrace, observation decks, and a two-level gallery with 360-degree views. Additionally, it will showcase a skywalk, a food court, and a revolving restaurant.

The Mangaluru tower is envisaged as a major tourism attraction, offering panoramic views of the city and its coastline. The project will further contribute to ongoing construction activity in the city’s tourism and public infrastructure segments.
