TCS HyperVault plans to invest 70,000 INR-Crore in 1 GW AI data center campus

TCS HyperVault, a subsidiary of Tata Consultancy Services is set to bring one of India’s largest artificial intelligence data center at Bharat Future City in Hyderabad. TCS has announced an estimated investment worth 70,000 INR-Crore. In this project, TCS HyperVault will set up a gigawatt-scale facility aimed at leading AI companies like OpenAI, Hyper Scalers and global enterprises. 

TCS has obtained an anticipated area of 264 Acres for the campus. The AI data center campus will be developed in phases based on customer demand and evolving technology requirements. Furthermore, TCS HyperVault will use liquid-cooled compute infrastructure, larger power blocks and faster deployment models to fulfil the company requirements in building and running large AI systems.

TCS HyperVault AI data center will focus on incorporating green energy and water-neutral design principles for its development. Additionally, the campus will be designed for high-density GPU deployments, the facility will support AI training, inference and advanced computing workloads.
