Delhi cabinet gives nod to a South Delhi govt housing project worth an estimated 319.7 INR-Crore. The project will provide 160 high-category residential units for government officers. It will sprawl over an anticipated 3.99 Acres at Bahapur in southeast Delhi.
Public Works Department recently received clearance from the Expenditure Finance Committee (EFC) for the proposed South Delhi govt housing project. It will have a built-up area of approximately 60,450 SqM. Additionally, the quarters will include basement parking, a clubhouse, an electrical substation, a guard room, public toilets, internal roads and landscaping.

The South Delhi govt housing project will comprise 80 Type-V and 80 Type-VI quarters for senior officers. The Type V units will have three bedrooms, while Type-VI will have four bedrooms. The units will include drawing and dining rooms, a kitchen, stores, utility balconies, and multiple toilets. The development will contribute to ongoing government-led construction activity in South Delhi.
